Yie-Hsin is the Chief Executive Officer of New York Life Investment Management (NYLIM), New York Life's global multi-boutique third party asset management business, a role she has held since 2015. She is also a member of the Executive Management Committee of New York Life. Since joining the firm, NYLIM has seen a three-fold increase in third-party assets under management through a combination of geographic expansion, organic initiatives and acquisitions, while staying true to her overall vision of bringing together the entrepreneurial energy of NYLIM's boutiques with New York Life's long-term orientation. She was previously Co-President of NYLIM and Chairman of NYLIM International, where she broadened the firm’s fixed income, equity and alternative capabilities. She did this both organically and through acquisition, most recently with the addition of Tristan, a European real estate manager and IndexIQ, a leading alternatives and strategic beta ETF provider. She led the firm’s international expansion through the acquisition of Candriam Investors Group in Europe and Ausbil in Australia, and the opening of several offices in Asia.

Yie-Hsin joined the firm in 2010. Previously, she held management positions at Bridgewater Associates and Morgan Stanley Investment Management, where she led its strategic acquisition activities as well as its private equity and hedge fund businesses, and also participated on its Management Committee. She began her career in investment banking with Morgan Stanley with a focus on real estate.

Yie-Hsin earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.

Anthony is Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of New York Life Insurance Company. He is also responsible for the teams which principally manage New York Life's general account portfolio that include Fixed Income Investors, Private Capital Investors and Real Estate Investors. He is a member of New York Life’s Executive Management Committee and serves on its Risk Steering Committee.

Anthony joined the firm in 1999. Naïm is the Chief Executive Officer of Candriam, a European multi-specialist asset manager and a recognized leader in sustainable investing. He is also the Chairman of New York Life Investments International, in charge of developing the company’s activities outside the U.S and serves on the Management Committee of New York LIfe Investment Management (NYLIM).

Naïm was named the CEO of Dexia Asset Management, Candriam’s predecessor company, in 2007. During his tenure as CEO, he has strengthened the company’s position as a leader and pioneer in sustainable investing and as a key player on the European asset management scene. In 2014, he steered the company’s acquisition by New York Life and its rebranding to Candriam. Since then, Candriam has become one of the fastest-growing asset managers in Europe, doubling its assets under management through product diversification, geographic expansion across Europe, Asia, the U.S., and external growth. His career spans over 30 years of experience in the asset management industry, during which he has held various investment leadership roles, from Alternative fund manager at Credit Agricole, UBS Asset Management and others to Chief Investment Officer of Dexia Asset Management, Candriam’s predecessor company. He has worked in the financial services industry since 1990.

John is the Chief Administrative Officer of New York Life Investment Management (NYLIM) and is a Vice Chairman of NYLIM International. In these roles, he is responsible for NYLIM strategy and acquisition activities, and business development, as well as ensuring the delivery of key strategic initiatives that further NYLIM’s objective of being a top tier global asset management organization.

John joined the firm as Chief Financial Officer in 2010 with responsibility for the firm’s finance, mergers and acquisitions, technology and risk management functions.  Prior to joining NYLIM, he held the position of Senior Vice President at New York Life Insurance Company with responsibility for corporate treasury and mergers & acquisitions. John has over 30 years of industry experience, including executive management roles at Old Mutual, as EVP, Global Strategy and Corporate Development; Old Mutual Asset Management, as SVP, Chief Financial Officer; and Natixis Asset Management, as SVP, Global Treasurer.

John earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Providence College and an M.B.A. from Boston University.

Kirk is the Chief Operating Officer of New York Life Investment Management (NYLIM), and President of the MainStay Funds and IndexIQ ETFs. Kirk is responsible for co-managing NYLIM’s U.S. retail businesses and overseeing day-to-day operations for product, marketing, fund administration and accounting, and technology. He has held numerous leadership roles at NYLIM, including leading strategy, mergers and acquisitions and global product development. 

Kirk joined the firm in 2006. Previously, he was with GivingCapital, Inc., where he managed donor-advised fund products and client relationships for the financial services market. He began his career in sales and marketing roles with Unisys Corp. and Beenz.com, Inc.

Kirk earned a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.

Jac is the Head of U.S. Distribution at New York Life Investment Management (NYLIM). Jac joined the firm in 2018 in his current role. Previously, he was Head of Distribution for Hartford Funds. He also held roles at Eaton Vance as Head of U.S. Retail and Offshore Distribution and at MFS Fund Distributors, where he worked for 16 years. Jeffrey is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MacKay Shields and is responsible for setting the firm’s strategy and leading the organization as it implements its goals across fixed income and equity strategies.  He also serves as Vice Chairman of New York Life Investment Management International.

Jeffrey joined MacKay Shields in 2011 and leads the Senior Leadership Team. Previously, he was an Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer for AllianceBernstein, LP. He served as a member of AllianceBernstein’s Executive Committee, which was responsible for management, key strategic initiatives and resource allocation of the firm. He led the formation of a Special Situations business unit to address the evolving needs of clients seeking specialty investment services. Prior to that, he was Co-Head and Chief Investment Officer of AllianceBernstein’s Fixed Income division overseeing $200 billion of assets under management — responsibilities included portfolio and research oversight, business development, thought leadership, technology and business planning.  He joined AllianceBernstein from Equitable Capital in 1992 when two investment managers were merged together by Axa Group. While at Equitable Capital, he served as a Fixed Income Trader and Portfolio Manager for insurance company portfolios and offshore investment trusts. He has worked in the financial services industry since 1987.

Christopher is the Head of New York LIfe Investments Alternatives, in charge of leading the efforts of GoldPoint Partners, Madison Capital, and PA Capital, and the Chief Executive Officerof Madison Capital Funding. Christopher joined the firm in 2005 and has held various positions within the firm including underwriting, portfolio management and distressed credit. Jae is the Chief Investment Officer of New York Life Investment Management, LLC (NYLIM). He serves as the Chairman of the Investment Governance Committee and is responsible for the oversight of the investment performance of the strategies managed by NYLIM’s boutiques and affiliate portfolio teams. He also leads the Multi-Asset Solutions (MAS) team, which manages third-party multi asset strategies and economic analysis for New York Life.

Thomas is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of GoldPoint Partners. He is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the firm and its investment activities. He also continues to manage the firm’s mezzanine business, a role he has held since 2001, and serves on GoldPoint’s investment committees.

Prior to the formation of GoldPoint in 1999, Thomas joined New York Life in 1991 where he has assumed positions of increasing responsibility including co-heading the private finance group.  Previously, he worked at Prudential Financial where he focused on leveraged financings in their private placement department. 

Thomas earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, with honors, from Michigan State University and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Noriko is the Head of Sales, Japan for New York Life Investment Management Asia Ltd. She is responsible for all sales and marketing activities of New York Life Investments in Japan, including financial institutions and pension funds. 

Noriko joined the firm in 2016. Previously, she served as Managing Partner at Tanden Research Institute where she led consulting services for the U.S.-based asset management companies for its Asian business development. She also worked at Mariner Capital Investments leading the marketing and business development initiatives in the Asian/Pacific region for Mariner Group products and Head of Asian Marketing team for Rock Maple Funds. She began her career working in the Tokyo offices of Goldman Sachs and Nikko Securities, as well as Merrill Lynch in Japan and New York. She has worked in the financial services industry since 1987.

Ian joined the firm in 2009. Previously, he was co-head of Morgan Stanley's European Equity and Fixed Income Research Division, a pan-European division with 265 staff, covering over 1000 securities across 30 sectors, and servicing hundreds of institutional clients across the world. He was also a strategist with Morgan Stanley in New York. He began his career as an investment manager at Baillie Gifford, one of the UK's leading independent investment management partnerships.

Chong Soo is the Head of New York Life Investments’ client relationship office in South Korea. With his deep knowledge of the Korean asset management market, he supports the Korean presence of New York Life Investments’ boutiques. 

Chong Soo joined the firm in 2013. Previously, he was Head of Institutional Sales and later Head of Global Client Group at Deutsche Asset Management Korea where he was responsible for increasing the company’s presence in Korea and marketing strategy, for about 10 years. He also worked at Hyundai Investment Trust and Securities and Hyundai Investment Trust Management Company in New York. He has worked in the financial services industry since 1988.

AJ joined New York Life in 2000. Chris is President of PA Capital, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the firm, including investment management, client relationships, and marketing. Chris joined the firm in 2004 as a member of the Private Equity investment team. Mark is a Senior Managing Director and Head of Real Estate Investors. He is responsible for public and private real estate debt investments and private real estate equity investments. He is also responsible for corporate real estate activities on behalf of New York Life.

Janelle is President of MacKay Shields LLC. She partners with the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer to oversee the firm’s autonomous investment teams, as well as partners with the Head of Global Distribution to further address growing demand for custom investment solutions. Paul is the Executive Chairman, Chief Investment Officer and Head of Equities at Ausbil Investment Management. He is responsible for portfolio construction, strategy and management of the Equities team and instrumental in growing Ausbil's assets under management. He is also Chairman of Ausbil’s Portfolio Construction Committee.

Paul co-founded Ausbil in 1997, as an investment management house focused on large, medium and small-cap equities, largely for institutional mandates. Ross joined the firm in 2015. Previously, he co-founded Five Oceans Asset Management, an international funds management business. He was formerly CEO of Deutsche Asset Management in Australia and Head of Deutsche Asset Management’s U.S. Mutual Fund business. He also held management roles at Bankers Trust in New York and Sydney.
