Noriko is Head of the Japan Office for New York Life Investments Asia Ltd. She is responsible for all sales and marketing activities of the New York Life family of specialized boutiques in Japan, including financial institutions and pension fund clients.

Noriko joined the firm in 2016. Previously, she served as Managing Partner at Tanden Research Institute where she led consulting services for the U.S.-based asset management companies for its Asian business development. She also worked at Mariner Capital Investments leading the marketing and business development initiatives in the Asian/Pacific region for Mariner Group products. She began her career working at Nikko Securities, then in the Tokyo offices of Goldman Sachs, as well as Merrill Lynch in Japan and New York. She has worked in the financial services industry since 1987.

Noriko earned a B.A. with Honors in Political Science/Pre-Law from Michigan State University and a B.A. in International Law from the International Christian University in Tokyo, Japan.
