Koen is Lead Portfolio Manager on the Thematic Global Equity team at Candriam. He developed and manages the Climate Action strategy.

Koen joined the firm in 2004 as a Senior Financial Analyst covering the capital goods and IT sectors. In 2007 he was appointed SRI Equity Fund Manager, and in 2011, Head of SRI European Equity Management. In 2013, he became Deputy Head of the Fundamental European Equity team and was Lead Manager on the Innovation strategy. Previously, he was a Financial Equity Analyst covering the energy and materials sectors for KBC Asset Management. He has worked in the financial services industry since 1999.

Koen earned a Master’s degree in Commercial Engineering from the University of EHSAL in Belgium.
