In his most recent role at Samson Capital Advisors LLC, Edward served as a Portfolio Analyst supporting multiple portfolio managers. Samson was a privately-owned investment management firm that was founded in 2004 by senior investment professionals from OFFITBANK, Goldman Sachs, and JPMorgan. Prior to its acquisition by Fiera Capital, Samson managed over $7 billion in assets in customized fixed income for affluent families and their foundations, endowments and corporations. He worked closely with portfolio managers in the day-to-day management of their accounts by identifying securities to buy and sell, monitoring cash balances and reviewing trading activity to ensure proper account allocation. In addition, he assisted with periodic reporting, client presentations and performance evaluation. He also prepared materials to be discussed in the weekly investment committee meeting. At Fiera Capital, Edward continues to work in the investment team with a primary focus on fixed income investments.
When Edward joined Samson in February 2012, he worked as a Junior Reconciliation Administrator where he reconciled accounts daily, tended to client and consultant inquiries and assisted portfolio analysts with month-end reporting.
Prior to joining Samson, Edward worked as an intern at HSBC Bank on the Long Island Corporate Team in the commercial middle market department.
Edward is a CFA Level 3 candidate and graduated Cum Laude from the College of the Holy Cross in 2011.
