SPEAKERS
David is a Managing Director at MacKay Municipal Managers and Portfolio Manager of the NYLI MacKay municipal bond funds. His primary focus is on the investment-grade and intermediate segments of the municipal market.
David joined the firm in 2009 in his current role. Previously, he was Chief Investment Officer at Financial Guaranty Insurance Company. David was also a Senior Portfolio Manager at Alliance Capital Management and Municipal Strategist at Merrill Lynch & Co. He has worked in the financial services industry since 1989.
David earned a A.B. in Biology from Brown University and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.
Chris serves as Senior Client Portfolio Manager and Chief Marketing Officer of MacKay Municipal Managers. Chris joined MacKay Shields in May 2011. Prior to joining, Chris was Senior Director with TIAA-CREF Asset Management focusing on investment product business development through institutions within the academic, medical, and research community. From 1991 through 2006, Chris worked with Merrill Lynch, most recently as Head of National Accounts within the asset management division overseeing business development within the broker-dealer community. Chris has a BA from Rutgers University, is a Certified Investment Management Analyst and member of Investments & Wealth Institute. He has been in the financial services industry since 1991.
